Name: Phillip Hewlett

About me: I am a single parent, my daughter is 8 years old and I was a lithographic printer for most off my working life . When our daughter was born, due to an unforeseen situation I had to leave full time work and become a full time parent. I have found that bringing up my daughter has given me a new outlook on life and I enjoy every day with her and the new tasks that it brings on a daily basis.

Experience: Over the last few years my brother has suffered from a mental health issue. I have been spending time supporting him to deal with day to day life and have found it rewarding to see his life becoming a little easier and his anxiety levels reducing with the support. The tasks I help him with are: food shopping, collecting prescriptions, taking him to support meetings and getting him home safely, cleaning tasks that he finds difficult, also discussing any daily life issues that come up and possible resolutions. I feel this is an area of work that I want to develop in going forward and I believe that I have something to offer.

Additional Information: In and around the Basingstoke area as need to be back at the school to pick up my daughter for 3pm Monday-Friday so ideal availability Monday Friday 9am-2.30pm
