About me: I offer 1:1 support and tailored small group opportunities to adults and young people in the community. This could be a combination of fun activities mixed with learning independent skills, overseen by me, to ensure the safety of the individual/individuals. ​Please see my website for more information: www.carebychris.co.uk Small group support will be a maximum of 3 people per group with myself out and about in the community. The idea behind this is to allow social groups to grow but still in a safe environment and support on offer if needed. The 1:1 support I offer focuses on supporting individuals either within the home or accessing the community, this could be day trips out and about tailored to the individuals needs or helping explore new interests or hobbies.

Experience: I have over 15 years’ experience supporting and working with children and young people with additional needs. My previous job roles have included a school Learning Support Assistant, Residential Care Officer and senior practitioner for a charity running projects, clubs, sex education workshops and 1:1 support. After many years of working for companies and gaining experience, I have decided to branch out on my own.

Additional information: I don't drive currently so I am looking at using public transport to support people.
