Experience: I am currently a telephone befriender for a local care company. This involves a weekly phone call to a client where we talk about their week and share stories.
I also befriended an elderly lady who lived on my street and I was there for her when she needed me, including taking her dog for a walk, sorting out her shopping and spending time with her.

I have previously worked in a residential care setting so have experience of working in the health and social care industry.
