About me: I am extremely passionate about my work and am the one that will always go the extra mile in EVERYTHING I do. I get joy from making people smile and bringing sunshine to their lives, I also find that in what I do brings me a peace you can't find doing just any job. I believe you shouldn’t be in care if your heart doesn't care. This is not a one size fits all role I am here to do things in the way that is safe important and all your choice. Am the lady with the love for cleaning I make a mean cuppa and my porridge is out of this world so I have been told. I am excited to meet new people and help with all your extra needs.
Experience: I have worked in care work for 7 years. I also have my niece living with me for the past 13 years, who has global learning delays. She requires my help and am a mother and am well organised with home life , school runs and cooking, cleaning and working My heart has always been in care work and it’s what I have grown up around. My mother would take us to care homes as children and I loved and embraced talking to everyone. One thing I learnt growing up and over time was the great importance and satisfaction of helping people be as independent as possible in their environment and also seeing people’s characters in their home is wonderful. I have worked with equipment and also know how to give medication, empty catheter bags and record notes every day. I can work alone or alongside another staff member.
